The Ibanez SRSC805-NTF Singlecut Bass Guitar is a 5-string bass guitar featuring a Poplar Burl Top/Mahogany wing body, Bartolini MK-1 Pickups, 5 piece Jatoba/Bubinga neck and a 3-band EQ. This sleek and stylish 5-string bass guitar is one of the latest editions in the SR series with a whole host of premium quality components. The single-cut body design works in conjunction with the pickups and 3-band EQ to produce a thick, punchy bass sound that can be tweaked and moulded to create the tone you want.
Bartolini MK-1 Pick-Ups
The MK-1 pickups are a split coil design that offers a wide frequency range and enhanced definition for optimal accuracy. The neck and bridge pickups have equal response, like traditional single coils, but without the hum and noise.
3-Band EQ With EQ Bypass Switch
One of the most unique features of this 5-string bass guitar is the 3-band EQ that features an EQ bypass switch, this lets you shape and craft the tone of your guitar with maximum control allowing you to mould every nuance of your sound. The bypass switch means you can easily switch between the original and affected tone.
Mid-Frequency Select Switch
In addition to 3-band EQ, the SR is now equipped with a mid-frequency select switch, enabling you to instantly select 250Hz and 600Hz-the heart of the mid zone -for a more dynamic and ideal tone.
Mono-Rail V Bridge
The bass features the Mono-Rail V bridge, which offers ultimate string isolation by independently locking down each saddle to the body for maximum vibration transfer without interference. The height of each saddle can be easily adjusted with a single screw.
